Tropical Storms

When storm season hits most people only think about hurricanes but there are many other things to worry about such as tropical storms. We don't often hear too much about tropical storms because it does not seem on the surface like they do much damage. 

Tropical storms are just as much to worry about as a hurricane. Tropical storms bring in mass amounts of water leaving areas flooded, homes damaged and nature destroyed in some places. 

Some things to think about with tropical storms that may not be at the fore front of your mind include: Clogged gutters, clogged swells, slopping backyards, and slab leaks. 

Clogged gutters can cause that water to come back into the home and do damage inside the walls that maybe unseen for several days or weeks until growth starts to come through and the damage is done.

Clogged swells can cause that water to flood towards the house and the slab of your home compromising the structure of your home and all of the materials in it. 

If you have a sloping backyard again that could cause water to come rushing towards your home and standing water to compromise areas of your structure.
