SERVPRO Gives back to New Smyrna Beach Community on Saturday

Servpro volunteers work with community members. On Saturday, April 29, volunteers participated in the city of New Smyrna Beach’s Community Outreach Giveaway.

On Saturday, April 29, SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach-Titusville participated in the city of New Smyrna Beach’s Community Outreach Giveaway at Pettis Park for those who are still displaced from last year’s catastrophic hurricanes Ian and Nicole.

The event which began at noon and lasted until around 4 p.m., was in the city’s historic west side. Sponsored by the City of New Smyrna Beach, as well as numerous local religious affiliates and commercial businesses, the event gave away free food, clothing, and door prizes, as well as providing plenty of activities for all ages.

Volunteers from SERVPRO of New-Smyrna Beach-Titusville contributed to the event by raffling off four major door prizes, one specifically for the overall event, and the other three as part of their hurricane preparedness/continuing education initiative. These prizes included a solar-powered radio with an additional phone charger, and two emergency preparation backpacks (one for an adult, the other for a child) filled to the brim with items necessary for the health and safety of individuals during catastrophic storms.

These items were also carefully selected in conjunction with the city to provide continuing education for community members in anticipation of the upcoming hurricane season. Other continuing education materials provided to the public included SERVPRO’s Home Emergency Kits, which contain individually filled booklets stored together in a waterproof, plastic zipped folder to be stored in an easily accessible spot in case of emergencies. Volunteers also gave away plenty of other SERVPRO pens, notebooks, and other swag to community members who visited their tent.

The overall participation in the event was part of SERVPRO’s continuing education efforts. By playing a role in the community by providing the tools necessary to get through catastrophic events, SERVPRO is there every step of the way, helping people take back control of their lives.

Community SERVPRO Community to us is our friends and family and that matters to us!

SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach-Titusville

Being a local business it's not hard to be involved in the community as being involved in the community is part of what we do! Often times we will host events that anyone in the community is welcome to join and we are always looking for ways to better the community with our restoration abilities.

SERVPRO operates on a 24/7 schedule to benefit the community and serve them at all times in the case of any emergency! The team often times looks out for the community, if they notice some mold or damage that could cause further damage, our professionals will notify you and provide you with free estimates to have your place back "like it never happened."

We are proud to serve our community and wouldn't have it any other way. We all know that our community suffers at times of major storms or heavy rainfall proceeding to flooding. We offer these free estimates that way our community doesn't have to pay to know whether they have a problem on their hand or not!

Networking with and meeting other businesses in our service area is one of our favorite activities here at SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach- Titusville as we believe that these other local businesses are the heart of our community.

We are so proud and excited to say that we are now officially members of the Port Orange South Daytona Chamber of Commerce! To celebrate the occasion, the chamber held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at our warehouse in Edgewater. With the attendance of fellow chamber members, local businesses, and SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach-Titsvilles owner, David Shirazyan thanked everyone for their continued support and cut the ceremonial ribbon!

The event also provided all those in attendance the chance to network in a fun environment, there was a cookout with plenty of food, sweets, cornhole, and door prizes. SERVPRO of New Smyrna Beach- Titusville is honored to be part of such a supportive group and can't thank everyone enough for coming to celebrate this special day with us, we can't wait to continue to build relationships within our local community!

Keeping It Clean

1/30/2022 (Permalink)

Now coming into 2022 we at SERVPRO are looking to make new connections in our areas of coverage and make sure we know all of those new businesses popping up around us!

A lot of businesses are going virtual or already have gone virtual and are doing a hybrid of in office and at home work days. This often can leave cleaning to the wayside in the office and at home both because schedules are changing and things get forgotten. We can handle both your office and your home for all cleaning needs from carpet, tile, and laminate to cleaning your air ducts and dryer vents.

The holidays are now behind us and it is time to keep 2022 going on the right step in a clean home or business. Give us a call today to get scheduled for your home office or office building cleaning needs!
